2026 Exhibitions

  1. Bridgeman Adventure: A Playful Journey Through Master Art (¥58, until June 30, 2027) - A whimsical masterpieces exhibition with interactive installations and photo-worthy displays. Many beloved artworks showcased from different perspectives.
  2. Mawangdui Han Tomb Exhibition (¥98, until October 7, 2026) - One of the largest Mawangdui exhibitions outside Hunan in over 50 years. 195 sets (472 pieces) of artifacts including 31 first-class cultural relics across three themes: Patterns, Ritual Objects, and Philosophy.
  3. Pure Hearts: Qiu Ruimin & Wu Huiming Retrospective (Free, until July 19, 2026) - Commemorating 70th anniversary of Shanghai Art Museum. A dual retrospective of an artistic couple who have spent their lives together creating art - Qiu with oil painting, Wu with sculpture.
  4. A Gentleman Is Not an Implement (Free, until July 19, 2026) - Shen Peng's calligraphy retrospective with 116 exhibits across four sections: Natural Expression, Master Learning, Cultural Accumulation, and Poetic Insight. From "knowing how to write" to "living with understanding."
